[ It's early morning when the characters automatically come to, and they'll find themselves in the inns of either Akihabara or Susukino as if waking up from a very restful sleep. Even if their origin wasn't the Japanese server, they've somehow found themselves here anyway!

Suddenly in the body of their avatars it might be a bit difficult to get around at first depending on their configuration, but when they leave their respective buildings they'll notice that the cities seem livelier than they usually are, filled to the brim with People of the Land (who curiously, seem more responsive than usual), as well as having various food booths with a wide assortment (though tasteless) set up.

On closer inspection, one peculiarity is that all guild data has been wiped clean (while everything else is left untouched), and it's up to them whether or not they reestablish their guild or not and claim a new guild hall.

Characters are free from now on to do as they wish! Attempt a dungeon? Contact a friend? The choice is yours! Feel free to play out random encounters and/or People of the Land at your own discretion. If you want to timeskip into a week to skip all the formalities as well, you're more than welcome to, just put a note somewhere in your intro! Be sure to familiarize yourself with the setting before posting as well. ]

[Well, that's good news at least. Considering he doesn't say he's hungry anymore, Tatsumi just assumes the peach is fine. Either way, his inventory was a collection of tasteless things, so offering anything else wouldn't have been any more satisfying.

Though, for him not to pick up food on his own. That's unusual, even for a game setting. Did he realize it was tasteless and just forewent it? That might be it. Hmm... no, that doesn't sound right. If one was hungry, they'd force it right? Unless they're picky.

He flips the page, using the back this time to write before showing it to him.]

[Ah... caught out. He laughs and raises both hands, even the one with the peach in it.]

[He's really new to the game... and even then he mostly wanders the city. If you're not fighting, it's not like you need the food as much, right?]

[Ah. He got that right. He thinks about explaining, but then realizes the amount of words required in order to actually get the message across was a lot more than he'd be able to write without boring the guy with the wait.

He really needs to work on this communication issue.

He gives him a pat on the shoulder instead and then attempts to simplify it as best as he can. Too much trial and error and listening to people should at least clarify.]

[He accompanies it with some drawings, simple enough to tell what they are even if they're not overly good.

[Shiro stretches out as he finishes writing, waiting for it to be done before he can properly look. It takes longer than he'd hope it would, but the drawings help a little. Not like he needs it properly explaining. It's all pretty simple with those 4 lines of text.]

So meat won't taste good here, right?

[He sounds so dejected...

At least until he laughs at that. Earning????? Gold?????? Please. Can't you tell he's used to mooching off people by doing this already?!]

[He looks a little distressed being the bearer of bad news, but at least that saves him from future issues trying to eat meat. He nods nonetheless to confirm it, but looking a little surprised at the laugh.

... He's making him feel more concerned about his ability to survive really.]

[Well, it's not something fun or happy, but considering he has nothing to work with... no proper memory of home and just this world, it's not hard to get by.

[Yeah, that just gets a very confused look, and a giant question mark to be written in that notebook for you.]

[He's smiling, but there definitely seems like there's something Off with him - until he pushes himself up properly and dusts himself off, anyway.]

Do you have any other fruits you can let go of? At least until I can find somewhere to buy some.

[He's a little more reluctant now, only because he does have a few, but it's limited until he actually goes out and tries to gather fruits. After all, with the knowledge that it has taste, guilds have been taking over stalls and buying out the produce within the hour, making it impossible to have a separate purchase.

Still, he eventually gives him two apples and scribbles a note just for a reminder.]

Guilds are emptying out stores. You're better off learning how to gather from the fields. Do you need help learning?
