❙ INTRO MINGLE (SUSUKINO)

[ It's early morning when the characters automatically come to, and they'll find themselves in the inns of either Akihabara or Susukino as if waking up from a very restful sleep. Even if their origin wasn't the Japanese server, they've somehow found themselves here anyway!

Suddenly in the body of their avatars it might be a bit difficult to get around at first depending on their configuration, but when they leave their respective buildings they'll notice that the cities seem livelier than they usually are, filled to the brim with People of the Land (who curiously, seem more responsive than usual), as well as having various food booths with a wide assortment (though tasteless) set up.

On closer inspection, one peculiarity is that all guild data has been wiped clean (while everything else is left untouched), and it's up to them whether or not they reestablish their guild or not and claim a new guild hall.

Characters are free from now on to do as they wish! Attempt a dungeon? Contact a friend? The choice is yours! Feel free to play out random encounters and/or People of the Land at your own discretion. If you want to timeskip into a week to skip all the formalities as well, you're more than welcome to, just put a note somewhere in your intro! Be sure to familiarize yourself with the setting before posting as well. ]

[While he stays laid out on the ground, Shiro waves his hand about - rather aimlessly, honestly.]

I think so, I think so-- [But then he casts a sheepish look up in Maciel's direction.]

My inventory is empty.

[HINT, HINT, he wants food!]

[He looks down almost cluelessly.]

Empty? Why is it empty..?

[Oh wait, but more importantly-]

What do you need?

Heh heh... I'm new here. [SUCKS TO BE HIM TO BE HONEST.

If you have any food... [He smiles up at him, looking pretty hopeful.]

Oh!

[Joined just when the game's expansion was launched, then? Oh dear, what bad timing.]

-yes, of course! Um, one moment...

[He pulls up his inventory, poking awkwardly at the translucent screen. Shortly after, he holds out a slice of cake. It looks delicious!!]

[He had the worst timing, obviously... But he also hasn't let it get him down. He was introduced to this, so he might as well enjoy what he can.

Starving isn't something he particularly enjoys though. Sigh.]

Thanks~! [He tilts his head and slowly pushes himself into a position to eat it... only when he bites down it really doesn't ... taste of much.

[His smile wavers. Oh. Then it's the cake too? He was kind of hoping that wouldn't be the case, which is probably why he'd been holding off eating any of his dessert items.]

...it doesn't taste like anything either, does it?

[He gives him an awkward smile, raising his free hand to rub the back of his head.]

Not really.

[Clasping his hands in front of him, Maciel bows apologetically.]

I'm sorry! I'd hoped it would be different- um...

Maybe something else?

[He pokes through his bag. What else does he have- uwah, he hadn't gotten a chance to unload his inventory so it's full of raw materials.]

Oh, I have some fruits that I'd been planning to use for pie.

[An apple appears in hand, and he holds it out.]

[He looks towards the apple and instead moves to scratch his cheek this time.]

Isn't it going to be the same? Ah, well-- [He reaches out to take it anyway.] Thanks for the apple.

[He doesn't seem to be worried he keeps taking Maciel's food though...]

[At least Maciel has a little to spare. He shakes his head.]

Well you still need to eat something, right? It'd be bad if you starved to death.

[Although raw ingredients like veggies and fruits still maintain flavor..!! Enjoy that apple!]

[He's grateful for that! But is a bit sad it isn't meat -- apples aren't the same!

Though it's nice that when he bites into it ... it actually tastes right. It's why he smiles around it, giving Maciel a cheerful thumbs up.]

[Letting out a sigh of relief at that, Maciel nods.]

I'm not sure why everything else tastes off, but at least ingredients that haven't been used to prepare food items still hold their flavor. So strange!

Mm... [He glances away, he's still smiling but--]

Maybe they're trying to make us be healthy?

[Lord only knows he isn't usually...]

Eh? Oh, I don't know... Maybe!

Or it's a punishment.

There are certainly worse ways to punish someone!

...e-eh? What do you mean, to punish someone? I don't know, it's not really something I've thought about..!

Hopefully! I'm just travelling now so I'm slow-ish because of that!

This still feels unfair though, especially when I don't think we've done anything wrong?
