eldertale | Akiba; Quest Time!

[Life goes on in Akiba even with the Adventurers' odd new behavior. While some of them are still wary about asking them for help now that they are behaving erratically, some of the people have eventually realized that they will have to work with the situation or risk their own businesses.

Adventurers, if they try asking around, may find NPCs who require a bit of an assistance. Quest time, anyone?]

BATTLE TYPE

Requester: Kurou
Level: All levels
Difficulty: Try not to die (Cannot compute)
Type: Chore
Reward: Any sigil of your choice on one item only. Excellent quality. 200 gold.

"You see, I still need to feed my cute cat..."

Kurou wants you to go to the next town in order to retrieve GOURMET BURGUNDY TRUFFLES for his cat, Shijima. While this is technically a low-level retrieval quest, anyone who seems to go on this quest experiences intense mob encounters from different levels and species and/or random explosions from areas that never do. Because of this, none of the People of the Land dare do deliveries for him anymore.

Since dying repeatedly is common in this quest, you're allowed to try as many times as you want to complete it. To give up on the quest, just speak to him again.

Requester: Marco
Level: 1~20
Difficulty: Easy (Ascot Crab: Lv 4~8)
Type: Chore
Reward: 75 gold

"Aaargh!! Why didn't I recheck the stocks last night?"

Marco needs ingredients for his kitchen. It seems he's been running low on ASCOT CRAB MEAT, and with a party for 100 people, he was desperate for any help he could get. However, because they're out of season right now, only a few seem to be flitting about. They're a little tough to find, but their low levels make them easy targets.

If done as a party, the amount would be split amongst all members. It's better for pairs, as Ascot Crabs are skittish (due to their low numbers) right now and will run upon sight. Only 5 crab meat is needed.

Requester: Dorothy
Level: 21~50
Difficulty: Mid (Brier Weasel: Lv 8~46)
Type: Retrieval
Reward: 40 gold. Pecan Brooch (Improves Agility).

"P-Please find him..."

Toto, Dorothy's dog, seems to have wandered out of the city and into the forest. Since Dorothy can't fight, she's too afraid to go out on her own. It doesn't help that the Brier Weasels have been especially aggressive lately due to migration, and she worries she'll never see him again.

It would be best to do as a party, as mob attacks are common. While the weasels are normally at a lower level (8~15) around the city, those who take part in this quest may experience more difficult enemies. Toto can be found at the edge of the forest hiding in a tree trunk.

Level: 50~70
Difficulty: Hard (Skeleton: Lv 11 ~ 63; Skeleton Archer: Lv 12 ~ 67)
Type: Treasure Hunt
Reward: 400 gold. Artifact-class item.

"Hey, have you heard the news?"

This isn't a quest so much as it's gossip, but it seems like the ruins to the west of Akiba are filled with lost treasures. The reward above is listed for the treasure chest they'd find, but other items can also be retrieved if one looks around carefully.

Quest is triggered when hearing the rumor from any of the People of the Land. Though there is no time limit for this, due to the Apocalypse, items don't get magically restocked anymore, so that one treasure chest is a one-hit wonder. Bringing a party is a must, as even solo adventurers would be overwhelmed by the aggressive skeletons.

Type: Blind Date
Reward: Free meal. Stylish Shades. Stylish Leather Gloves.

"Oh, you look perfect for this job, darling~!"

Go on a ~blind date~! That's right. Mika's trying to make her own matchmaking service. You have the free time, right? She's persistent and won't take no for an answer. If taking this quest, you are placed in a cafe and may end up with a random stranger or a friend as your partner. It really depends on who she ends up finding next. Don't worry, you just need to talk to them for half an hour before she introduces the next one. Have fun socializing! Because of 'Stylish', both items increase Magic attack slightly.

Level: ALL LEVELS
Difficulty: Easy
Type: Chore
Reward: 30 gold

"Would you mind helping an old man...?"

While this is an easy-level quest, getting down and dirty is a lot more strenuous now that you're actually performing the task! Old man Koushirou needs help in gardening however, as his back is giving him extreme difficulties today. Won't you help a nice old man out?

[ Note: Anyone can assume talking to the NPC and then doing the quest asap. Don't feel limited to do these. These are more like ideas to help people in the musebox, but feel free to make your own quests or scenarios in the comments!
